Today started with me waking up super early with what I can only describe as a sleep hangover because the night before I had been up to late for my body to get proper rest. After the parents had had time to decide the way our adventure would take us today we headed out to a place called Montmartre so we could see Paris from up high as well as wander the beautiful streets. While we had stopped at a cafes bunch of militia dudes walked past each holding a Famas (which is an assault rifle), after they had walked down the road mark explained to us (we had asked because carrying live weapons is a bit unusual)that the reason they were there was because of terrorist attacks earlier that year. Once all was said and done hunger struck us like a lighting bolt and we decided to head over to nearer our apartments to sniff out our lunch ( not literally because I had a blocked nose). After finding a suitable restaurant that fitted our needs we sat down to lunch while I speculated that the burger would be up to my standards. Short answer is hell ya. After a wonderful meal we headed back to enjoy the day until bed time.
