Today started with mum, Tom & Nate going for a stroll to the cafe while I had an ordinary breakfast (because I insisted on staying in bed all morning). After that we headed toward the Arc de Triomphe but we had to take a detour because there was a protest happening on the quickest route (apparently French protests can escalate and end with cars on fire and stuff like that,). After the short detour we finally made it to the Arc de Triomphe and it looks amazing. After a quick walk around we headed to Le Tour Eiffel (the Eiffel Tower) but not before stopping at a super marche for lunch, which we had as a picnic with a great view of the Eiffel Tower.
After an hour or two marvelling at the Eiffel Tower we headed to a restaurant called ‘Terrace 17’ where I ordered what I thought was steak rib ,(please note I can’t read french) but it was a heck of a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be and it was great!
