Today we are moving to yet another place but unlike the other places we have stayed this one is right next to a train station and it’s also not that far from the current house.
After dropping off the luggage we jumped onto the DLR train (I think it stands for something like “dockland’s light railway”) until we arrived at the city center. After grabbing a sandwich from Tesco’s we wandered over to Covent gardens to sit to enjoy our lunch (One other thing I might not have mentioned is that London seems to get into the Christmas spirit very early on so like most other places Convent gardens was decorated all the way up to a massive Christmas tree in the middle of the square). After wandering around some we decided we were all thirsty so we started looking for a Starbucks but when we found it it happened to be on the other side of the road and there was some sort of blockade in the center so we decided to go to Pret (another coffee shop but on our side of the road) instead. After a drink and a Christmas pie we started walking down the street until we found a barber shop that did cuts for children and since Tom’s current style wasn’t the best (Lets just say it looks a little bit like Edna from the Incredible’s) we decided to get it done there. After Tom had an acceptable hair cut we decided to check out a surf shop coz we were planning to do some swimming in India and other places but because it was the middle of winter in London we didn’t have much to choose from. After tubing back to the station near our house we went to the supa before going back home for tea.
