Today started with me waking up in my brand new Rhinowolf tent wondering what breakfast would be, and it turned out to be pastries and baguette that Mum and Mark had ordered last night.
After a quick breakfast we went to ‘Super U’ which is the local supermache. After we had sorted a few thing out we went to ‘St Michel d’Aiguile’ which is a catholic chapel that was built on top of a high rock formation that was created by a volcano.
Once at the top the view was awesome but the height was terrifying. After the climb we headed to Super U to get ice creams because Tom was very insistent on a treat for the massive climb. On the way back we passed a playground that we had previously seen the other day and Tom decided for us we would stay there for awhile, which was fine by us. But it meant I had to run the uneaten ice creams back to the camp freezer which was a workout and a half.
After Tom had his fill of playing I thought I had the Pétanque rules down pat. Pétanque is the national game of the French and they play it everywhere (including at playgrounds).
We went home for awhile then we went out to
Dinner at a fancy restaurant near the Cathedral where we would start the Camino (Aline + H was the name if I remember correctly). After a filling two course meal we decided to take the long way home to admire the view.
