Day 4 Rarotonga

Today I woke up at around 8:00 am because I’m a heavy sleeper and then after breakfast we started the day with a trip into town to a place called the “Lucky Rooster eatery” which was an appropriate name because the place was crawling with hens and roosters.

After we had ordered our drinks we relaxed and watched as tom tried his monster noises at the chooks as we waited for our orders to be fulfilled. After the drinks had arrived and Nate and I had swapped a taste each Nate reluctantly agreed that my iced chai latte was way better than his peach iced tea. After we had payed and taken a quick trip to the bike shop we decided to head out on a trip around the island to visit a few places, the first stop we made was at a place called Vaimu that we bought overly expensive pizza and chips that we shared while we sat in beach chairs that weren’t protected enough from the wind. The next stop we made was at a place called Wigmores were the served the most preposterous sized ice creams that were only $3 but were the biggest ice creams I had ever seen. The next stop on our island trip was a playground that wasn’t in the best shape but was good enough to satisfy Toms imagination while he versed his mighty enemies with his trusty sidekick Mark. After Tom was all out of fight, we headed back home finishing our island bike ride delicious homemade pizza for dinner.
