Day 2 Rarotonga

In the morning I woke up and decided to take a crack at a book that we had found around the house (I forgot to bring my own books ):   ) which was called “ the blade itself” by Joe Abercrombie which I quite like.

After breakfast and a quick trip to the beach were Nate and I tied each other up with these flax like leaves and tried to be the fastest to escape (I won obviously) then we decided to take a trip down to Muri where we went to a place called “villi’s burger joint” where we had delicious burgers and chips while listening to bad jokes that Nate found on the side of the building that Nate was sure to add to his repertoire (Example of some of the jokes: There was a man and a hungry lion, the lion started to chase the man the man ran and stopped we he was out of breath and then kneeled and prayed the lion would become catholic and wouldn’t eat him and when he turned round the lion was on its knees saying “Dear god, I hope I receive my food well” and, There was an elephant and a naked man stand together the elephant turned to the man and said “how do you breath through something so small?” Terrible right?) After we had been filled with good food and bad jokes we decided to go to the beach and while the others where snorkelling I was sleeping off my jet lag. After a refreshing sleep we decided to go to the infamous Muri night markets that we had passed on the way, when we arrived the markets had a wide range of food and all of it was top notch stuff, when it was my turn to get my meal I decided upon a pizza place that gave me a free drink with my delicious pizza. After all that we decided to go home and crash for the night.
